Wild Child Gardeners Are Mighty Moms

In this bonus episode on #givingtuesday,  I am so excited to be joined by wild child gardener, Dawn Birdsong, as she tells us about Mighty Moms and their new program to help food insecure families in Livingston Parish.  For gardeners, we don't think much about food insecurity because we have plenty to choose from right outside the back door, but for so many families, the overwhelming anxiety of where the next meal is coming from is a huge daily burden. Mighty Moms is doing amazing things, and the Wild Child Garden Club is thrilled and honored to partner with them to sponsor a month of Feeding Young Minds.  Listen in and learn about this amazing program, how it started, and where it's going.
