Our Flock
We currently have 28 laying hens and 1 rooster, Johnny Cash, in our backyard laying flock. We raise French Black Copper Marans, French Splash Marans, Welsummers, Ameraucanas, Olive Eggers, and Easter Eggers and love helping others start their beautiful backyard rainbow flock. We offer hatching eggs, week old chicks, and adult “instant flocks” that we customize for our clients.
Our Garden
Our backyard kitchen garden allows us to have delicious vegetables year round. We focus on three elements in our garden….soil building, companion planting, and creating a beautiful space that not only feeds our bellies but also feeds our souls. We love to help others achieve the same retreat space in their yard by offering garden design and build services as well as hosted garden parties.
Our mission
We want to inspire those around us to release their inner wild child right where they are. We hope to encourage you that you don’t need more space to enjoy the beauty of God’s creation. He is everywhere. And His creation is always magnifying His name. We just need to look for it. We offer Nature School and workshop classes for all ages here at our backyard farm in all seasons.
