THE WORLD OF WORMS – JULY 18, 2019 – 9:00AM – 12:00pm (snack is included)
Do you think worms are just slimy and gross? In this class you will see how amazing these little creatures are and how much they benefit the world around us. We will learn about the life of worms, their anatomy, and how they benefit our soil and gardens, then recreate that environment by getting our hands dirty with Miss Alyssa from Lazy Worms Farms as she shows us how to build our own worm beds before filling them with worms. Each wild child will get to take home their worm bed to begin their composting journey and leave here excited about one of the most misunderstood animals on our planet. This class would be great for the whole family and would be perfect for an introduction to a late summer/early fall nature study on worms for homeschoolers. This class is for a wild child who is 5 years old or older.
This class is SOLD OUT! This class is limited 20 participants and is $20 per wild child.
