What to Wear
Students need to be dressed and prepared to be outside. We do have a cozy indoor classroom but outdoor exploration is part of every program. Students should dress for the weather in clothing and shoes that can get dirty. Sturdy, closed-toe shoes and a change of clothes are never a bad idea.
Drop-off and Pick-up
Please note the program start times and arrive on time. Full-day camp programs officially start at 9:00 am but children can be dropped off any time after 8:45 am.
It is assumed that parent/guardian and emergency contacts named on the registration form are authorized to pick up your student(s). At drop-off, please provide the names of any other people who are allowed to pick them up.
Aftercare: 3 – 5 pm
After care is available for Nature Camp only and costs $15/day and is paid by the day or week. You can add after care at any time by just letting us know.
Food
Please pack a filling, healthy lunch and snacks for your wild child. We occasionally make snacks to share using food from our farm, so let us know if your child has allergies or food restrictions. We are not an allergy-free facility but we do try to accommodate allergies as much as possible.
Behavior Policy
At Wild Child Farms we cultivate a community of respect. We expect all of our visitors to be safe, respectful, and kind to people, animals and plants. We can accommodate many behavior differences if we know how to best support your child. Please share strategies that work well for you during the online registration process. We are also happy to discuss your needs in more detail if necessary if you contact us.
Behavior that cannot be effectively managed during a program includes, but is not limited to, physical violence or threats, emotional abuse, or purposefully leaving adult supervision. Students that engage in behaviors such as these may be sent home. Student safety and enjoyment are our top priorities.
Refund Policy
We do not offer refunds for class or camp cancellations, however, reservations are transferrable to a family member or friend or can be transferred to another class or event held at Wild Child Farms.
NOTE : If minimum program enrollments are not reached, Wild Child Farms reserves the right to cancel programs. If this happens, we will give you as much advance notice as possible and you will receive a full refund.
