South Louisiana weather at its finest. 22 last night and 60 today! All the ice has melted, and the babies took their first trip out of the greenhouse!
It’s cold. And it’s beautiful. And I’m planning spring gardens by the fire!
I’m more ready for spring today than ever before. This is my garden last summer, swipe to see it this morning. It is cold here. And us cajuns don’t like the cold!
This is the last of my winter garden. With tears in my eyes I picked everything left and said thank you to what won’t make it through this week of freezing temps we have coming.
I always garden 50% for food and 50% for beauty. This season I was all about the purple and green. I just harvested the last of my winter crops, and I’m gonna miss these beauties!
